Spa Guidelines

The Spa at Sandpearl seeks to provide a relaxing and restorative spa experience for all of our guests. Below you will find our spa etiquette guidelines, which will help you make the most of your time at our tranquil Clearwater Beach Spa. To make an appointment, please contact us at 727.674.4140.

RESERVATIONS

We encourage you to schedule your appointments in advance. Although it is possible to walk in and schedule an appointment, availability becomes limited, and in many cases we are fully committed with other guests.

THERAPIST PREFERENCE

If you prefer a male or female therapist, don’t hesitate to let your choice be known. Also, if you have enjoyed the services of a particular therapist during a prior visit, feel free to request that person.

CELL PHONES

To promote a calm & relaxing environment, please leave phones, tablets & other electronic devices in your room, or please turn them off before entering the spa.


COMMUNICATION

All aspects of your service(s) can be modified to your taste: music, or whether you choose to have conversation or enjoy your treatment in silence. If you want the therapist to use more or less pressure, simply tell them. As a reminder, conversations between guests in the relaxation room & elsewhere should be kept at a low volume.


PUNCTUALITY

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow unhurried check in process. Arriving late will limit the time of your service, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your appointment will end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next guest’s scheduled appointment. 

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations and reschedule requests must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid being charged in full.

GRATUITY

All spa services are accompanied by an 18% gratuity. This charge is automatically added to your service as a convenience.


SUSTAINABILITY

As part of our eco-friendly efforts, we strive to conserve. Being respectful of your environment is part of the spa experience, and using only the number of towels necessary during your stay helps us maintain our commitment to sustainability.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If you have you been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by a doctor or a local public health official in the last 14 days or have experienced any cold or flu like symptoms in the last 14 days – please wait to make a reservation until you cleared by a medical professional. Some medical conditions may not be advisable for you. We reserve the right to refuse any service that we deem could be harmful to our Guests or team members.

VALUABLES

To avoid all worries and stress, please leave all jewelry and valuables in your room safe.

WHAT TO WEAR

In your spa locker you will find a robe. Treatment protocol provides you with modest draping throughout your services; please feel safe to drape down to your comfort level.


FOOD AND DRINK

You are encouraged to refrain from eating for an hour before a service. It is best to avoid the consumption of alcohol on the day of your appointment. Remember to drink plenty of water before & after your services.

CHILDREN

A spa is a great place to get a little alone time. Children under the age of 16 will not be permitted in the spa.

RETAIL

Continue your spa experience at home! All spa products are available in our retail boutique. To replenish your supply, we can arrange regular monthly shipments, or feel free to call us to have your products delivered at your convenience.
