SIDNE FOX JOINS THE SANDPEARL RESORT TEAM AS DIRECTOR OF CATERING & CONFERENCE SERVICES

The new Clearwater Beach resort opens in summer 2007

CLEARWATER BEACH, FL (March 12, 2007) – As the Sandpearl Resort’s much anticipated opening draws near, Coral Hospitality has appointed Sidne Fox as Director of Catering & Conference Services. Opening in summer 2007, the 253-room, eight-story luxury hotel will be the first new beachfront resort on Clearwater Beach in over 25 years.

Fox brings over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving on the catering team at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston, Fla. Much of her career has been rooted in the Wyndham Corporation and Wyndham franchise properties, serving as director of catering & conferences, hotel manager, and food & beverage director, all within Texas and Vermont. Fox also served as regional director of catering, overseeing 24 full and limited service hotels for Wyndham in the Central United States and Canada.

In her new position, Fox will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day catering sales efforts and servicing of group/convention business, as well as working closely with the resort’s operational team to maintain five-star service.

Fox and the current Sandpearl Resort team are in the pre-opening office located at 600 Cleveland Street in Clearwater until the resort opens.

The Sandpearl Resort, opening summer 2007, will be the first new beachfront resort in Clearwater Beach in over 25 years.
