Clearwater Marine Aquarium Behind-the-Scenes Tour
See how they care for rescued dolphins & sea turtles. Tour includes VIP seating at the dolphin show.

Sea Life Safari Eco-Tour
Join us aboard the Sea Life Safari for a two-hour trip into our beautiful intercoastal waters. Look for dolphins, sea birds and other marine life as our staff narrates the scenic ride to a shell island. You'll witness data collection in action as we perform our net pull and pass around sea critters before releasing them back to the bay. A hands-on experience unlike any other cruise! Kids of all ages love this experience.

Kayaking Excursion
Join us as we kayak thru our beautiful waterways. Learn about the local environment and enjoy the pristine beauty of the area. We provide the kayaks, paddles, safety gear, transportation, and best of all an expert guide who not only knows the water, but what's in it as well. Our staff will lead the way as we paddle through the local estuary ecosystems of Pinellas County. Each 4-hour round trip includes about 2 hours on the water, so bring snacks and prepare yourself for a half-day of aquatic adventure.

Tradewinds Sailing
Launched in 1974, the 60 ft. windjammer Tradewinds was designed for single-handed transAtlantic racing and is one of an elite few three-masted schooners. With 53 ft. on the waterline and a hullspeed of 12 knots she was one of the faster boats of her day. Today, she cruises along at a more leisurely pace. She sails with no more than 6 guests, giving you the opportunity to handle the helm, trim the jibs, raise the main, or just relax and watch the dolphins.

Astronomy Night
The Sandpearl Resort has partnered with the Museum of Science and Industry to provide you with an out of this world experience. Star gaze and take home a memory of the sky! You might get the opportunity to observe the Moon, Saturn, Venus, Mars, and many constellations through a solar telescope. Your star journey is narrated by our expert MOSI Astronomer. Come and join us on the boardwalk and experience your own personal journey of the sky! Seasonal availability and weather permitting.

Wade with Dolphins
Bring your bathing suit and a towel as you join the friendly resident dolphins of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for a swim. Includes aquarium admission, certificate & t-shirt.

Caladesi Island/Dolphin Encounter Cruise
Enjoy a boat tour through the Intercoastal to Caladesi Island, where you'll spend three hours exploring the undisturbed beach before a leisurely return through the Gulf while watching dolphins swim alongside the boat. Unlimited free refreshments on your return trip.

Dolphin Trainer Experience

Artist in Residence Program
The Sandpearl Resort will highlight and welcome a prominent artist each month. The artists will be involved in a program, which will allow our guests to both participate and/or observe the featured craft with the expertise, guidance and instruction of our resident artist. These rotating artists will include watercolor, oil on canvas, sketching, jewelry and beadwork among other easily accessible and expressive art form for guest appreciation. Depending on the style the guests may have the opportunity to create their own work of art as a keepsake of their visit to the Sandpearl. Artists will be featured at the Gallery at the Sandpearl Resort.

Chef's Cooking Demo: Organic Food & Wine Tasting
Learn about organic foods as you tour Caretta's kitchen. The menu features organic green salad with white balsamic vinaigrette, pan-seared wild grouper, crispy fingerling potatoes with seasonal organic vegetables expertly paired with an organic wine tasting. Relax and enjoy the demonstration as you learn how our Chef expertly prepares your meal. Then take home the recipe to recreate later for family and friends.
